BAJV is a partnership established between Bauxite Resources Limited and Yankuang Resources in April 2011. This partnership was formed for the long term exploration and development of bauxite resources in the Darling Range of Western Australia and signals a new era in bauxite alumina production.
BAJV is currently working towards their two year goal.
1. To develop bauxite for export
2. To develop an alumina refinery in Western Australia.
BAJV is currently transitioning from an exploration only organisation to include bauxite and alumina developments. Exploration activity will focus on the identified targets which have the potential for commercial development. This will position BAJV for refinery processing studies.
Their long term goal is to develop a sustainable value-adding industry, marking a new era in WA bauxite-alumina production.
